Kapci Coatings on June 30 2021, announced projects for its expansion drive an expansion of its coatings manufacturing capacity in India for Car Refinish, Decorative and Wood applications. The investment at a site in Bangalore, will support growing customer demand in India and other Asian countries for the latest generation of coatings for Automotive, Household, Commercial, Industrial and Wood solutions. The projects include a further expansion of the company’s location in Port Said area C8, which will increase the plant’s production capacity for Decorative coatings by 40%. Expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2022, the project follows a 50% expansion completed at the end of 2020. The main plant and the Kapci coatings HQ will double its production capacity for Automotive Refinish with advanced coatings technology expected to be introduced in the third quarter. “These investments demonstrate our long-term commitment to support our customers across the Globe,” said Amr El Sayed, Commercial Director. “They will improve our ability to efficiently supply the innovative coatings solutions that our customers have trusted for more than three decades.” The research and development (R&D) facility at the main production facility in Port Said has also been expanded and now represents the company’s new technology and innovation center of excellence. “We are dedicated to delivering novel and breakthrough technologies to exceed our customers’ expectations,” said Amr. “Through our commitment to innovation and dedication to quality and high-performance products, Kapci provides increased value for brand owners and operational advantages to end users.”
